Theodore, Michael Jr. February 5, 1991 - March 31, 2010
Michael Theodore, Jr. was a biker, but not an Azusa StreetRider prior to his tragic death in March of 2010, however shortly after his death, a full chapter of Azusa StreetRiders was formed in Ashtabula, OH because of his influence on the bikers in his church. The following intro and article were submitted by his grieving father, Michael Theodore, Sr. and he gave me permission to add this info to our “In Memory Of…” webpages.
Bro. Fred Beall; ASR, Myrtle Beach, SC
Hello everyone In Jesus Name! Have you heard of Pastor Jason Sciscoe from Texas? He has a big church and is also an evangelist. He was our guest speaker for our revival two weeks after my son's tragic accident on March 31, 2010. What an awesome man of the Lord very powerful in the spirit. Anyway, here is a story he did about my son and the church’s revival in his national magazine, Living in Triumph!
As most of you know my son, Michael Theodore, Jr., gave up a full football ride to Ohio State to be a wide receiver. God called my son! He was going into the ministry in the United States Marines Corps. My son's motto, one that he followed and would always say, “You have to make an Impact.” And that he did whether it was on the football field making game winning touchdowns or interceptions in high school or as it applied to his homework, school and his work when on the job. Most important of all, he made an impact in church and with everyone he came in contact with.
In a very big way, my son's death made a major impact by the way he left us. It touched the valley here in northern Ohio very much.
We are very proud of our son.
Thanks for letting me rant.
Bro. Michael Theodore, Sr.
